Liverpool’s rivals are busy in the transfer market making final preparations ahead of the new Premier League season.
The official cut-off point to seal any signings in order to be included in this weekend’s fixtures is 12 noon tomorrow, so there might yet be a mad dash to get signatures on the dotted line with the full certificate of approval.
The Reds are pressing on with their own negotiations, although it appears unlikely any fresh faces will be joining Jurgen Klopp’s ranks for Sunday’s visit to Stamford Bridge. Some top-flight challengers do appear to be further ahead in their plans whilst others may spring some surprises in the coming 24 hours or so.
