Liverpool’s Premier League 2023/24 season begins this weekend, so we predicted how Jurgen Klopp’s side could perform next season
Liverpool will begin their 2023/24 Premier League campaign away to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, but how could the Premier League table look come the end of the season?
After an underwhelming season that saw Liverpool finish fifth in the Premier League and miss out on a spot in the Champions League, the Reds will be looking to make big improvements in the new Premier League campaign and return to the top of the table. An overhaul of the squad has commenced with plenty of first-team players departing, but so far just two signings have been made
Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have both been signed to strengthen the Liverpool midfield, but with the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson both being sold, the Reds are currently bare-boned in the position. The Reds are set to begin the 2023/24 Premier League season with their current options, though more additions are expected to be made in midfield with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo both being linked with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
