Liverpool will have a close-to-full squad to boast when they visit Stamford Bridge for their Premier League against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
After a week of transfer tensions off the field, the Reds go head-to-head with the Londoners in a game that is expected to have plenty of needle as a result of this week’s Moises Caicedo transfer drama. And while neither side will have the Ecuadorian in their squad come Sunday afternoon, the Reds could have some returning faces in their ranks for their trip to the capital.

Earlier this week, manager Jurgen Klopp was boosted by midfielders Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic returning to full team training after the pair spent a prolonged period on the sidelines with various injuries, which ruled them out of the final weeks of the 2022/23 campaign. Although it remains to be seen whether Sunday’s venture to West London has come too soon for the duo.
Meanwhile, young defender Conor Bradley is set to miss out on Sunday’s opener after missing the Reds’ last three outings of pre-season with injury.
