Alan Shearer believes Moises Caicedo choosing Chelsea over Liverpool will not be a ‘good look’ for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It emerged on Friday that the Reds had struck a transfer agreement with Brighton for the services of the Ecuadorian midfielder, something Klopp himself was able to confirm during his press conference staged on the same morning.
The Caicedo saga soon took a futher twist yesterday afternoon, however, as reports suggesting Caicedo was set to snub Liverpool in favour of Chelsea began to appear. It was claimed the Londoners were the club the 21-year-old is holding out for, with the player’s agent urging Maurcio Pochettino’s side to better Liverpool’s record-breaking offer.
