Liverpool must painfully watch on as long-term target Romeo Lavia inches closer to Chelsea. The Londoners have done the deal from under the Reds noses and are now said to have agreed a £58m fee, with only a medical standing in the way.
The Reds will have to turn to other targets before the window closes. Ibrahim Sangare of PSV Eindhoven has been mentioned although there could be competition, and Joao Palhinha of Fulham offers an interesting prospect after a solid first season in the Premier League.

Romeo Lavia £58m deal agreed
Romeo Lavia is slipping away from Liverpool. It was revealed on Tuesday night by Fabrizio Romano that Chelsea have agreed a £58m package with Southampton now, with a medical all that needs to be finalised before he is expected to be announced this week.
