Liverpool player ratings and scores after the 3-1 Premier League win against Bournemouth at Anfield.
Alisson Becker 8
Booked for a foul after heavy touch outside that area and bit wobbly early on, but three fine saves in the closing quarter.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 6
Somewhat too easily caught out for the Bournemouth goal but redeemed himself slightly with part in the equaliser. Tested Neto with drive. Limping when subbed.
Ibrahima Konate 6
Liverpool’s wobbles in the early stages were epitomised by even the Frenchman missing a few tackles, but slowly improved.
Virgil van Dijk 7
Unwise to play the ball into midfield to initiate Bournemouth opener but hit bar with header and wide with another. Won battle with Moore second half.
Andy Robertson 6
Extremely uncertain in opening stages but a bit unlucky his challenge on Solanke fell for Semenyo to score. Settled a bit after that.
Alexis Mac Allister 5
Found it very tough going as Bournemouth swarmed around him in the opening quarter although decent going forward. Red card looked very harsh after foul on Christie.
Dominik Szoboszlai 9
Bounced off possession a bit early on, but began to adapt and clever footwork won the penalty before outstanding second-half showing full of purpose, power and shot that prompted the third.
Cody Gakpo 6
Put in a big shift but too often caught in two minds whether to stay put in midfield or push forward. Bit better after break but subbed after Mac Allister red.
Mohamed Salah 7
Frustrated for large parts first half and a poor penalty, but was alert enough to snaffle the rebound. Found a lot more space second half and worked so hard when Liverpool down to 10. Subbed.
Diogo Jota 8
Spurned a decent opening with a bad touch but did very well to break into area and set up Diaz for Liverpool first. Came alive after break and reacted quickest for third. Subbed.
Luis Diaz 8
Out of sorts like so many team-mates at the start, but kept running forward and took his equaliser superbly and really found groove second half. Real team effort when Liverpool went down to 10. Subbed.
Wataru Endo (for Gakpo 63) 6
Not the circumstances he would have expected for debut and nervous early on until steadying matters.
Joe Gomez (for Alexander-Arnold 76) 6
Looked to lock down the right side of defence.
Harvey Elliott (for Jota 76) 6
Another energetic cameo from the youngster.
Kostas Tsimikas (for Salah 86)
Played on the left wing on his introduction.
Darwin Nunez (for Diaz 86)
Knocked some players over.
