What do you get when you combine the Liverpool FC, compelling discussions, and two outstanding hosts? The new video relationship with This Is Anfield is the solution.
This past week, we officially debuted our new collaboration with Paul Cope and Gareth Roberts of the podcast The Late Challenge.
Every Monday at 5 p.m. (UK), our brand-new weekly talk program, “Live at 5,” goes live on This Is Anfield’s YouTube channel.
Our second program, which airs every Wednesday on This Is Anfield YouTube again, will go deeper into LFC issues and discussions.
Additionally, both programs are accessible via the This Is Anfield podcast feed in audio-only format.
Quite a few discussion points have already been raised by the first two episodes, ranging from “a massive overthink from Jurgen” on his response to the music beingsung at Anfield during a discussion about whether “our club has a coaching problem.”
And it will be fascinating to see if you concur with Gareth and Paul’s evaluation of Premier League VAR and whether the “clear and obvious” standard should be eliminated.
If the first two weeks of the season are any indication, we somewhat doubt that this will be the last time the officials are brought up!
Every Wednesday’s program has a different theme, and this one was all about “My Liverpool Firsts,” including my first game, my first time on the Kop, and my first Cup Finals experience.
Gareth also described what it was like to attend Jurgen’s debut press conference. and how was interviewing the boss for the first time.
