According to sources, Mohamed Salah, a winger for Liverpool, wants to leave and hasn’t ruled out playing in the Saudi Pro League. A new offer from Al-Ittihad might make the difference.
Al-Ittihad is attempting to acquire Salah after earlier this summer purchasing Fabinho from Liverpool. Salah has always seemed like an easy target for the emerging enterprise in Saudi Arabia because he is one of the most famous Muslim athletes of all time.
His agent has so far refuted any rumors that he wants to leave Liverpool, but the evidence for his departure is mounting. Sport Italia reports that Al-Ittihad is getting ready to make another offer to the Reds for Salah, who has never turned down a chance to play in the Saudi Pro League.
There is a feeling that Liverpool ma finally buckle because of what is on the transfer table.
Alyaum asserts that Al-Ittihad will accede to any demands made by Liverpool and Salah himself. For instance, despite their recent investment in reigning Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema, he might become their highest-paid player.
Salah may end up earning more money overall in the Saudi Pro League than any other player, not just at Al-Ittihad, according to reports in Spain. He will therefore likely make more money than Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Claims are also being made that Salah wants to leave Liverpool following a meeting between Al-Ittihad and Salah’s representatives in Doha.
Italian media continues to speculate about Salah’s potential replacement at Liverpool. According to reports, Leroy Sane of Bayern Munich and Federico Chiesa of Juventus are admired at Anfield.
Both Chiesa and Sane still have two years left on their contracts with their current teams, who each value them at over €50 million (£42.8 million).
Salah’s contract with the club was extended last year to 2025, thus Liverpool will undoubtedly demand a large transfer fee for him. If Al-Ittihad is successful in stealing him away, Jurgen Klopp’s attack will need to fill the gap.
While Chiesa has never played for an English club, Sane has prior Premier League experience from his time with Manchester City.
