Alisson was passed over for Aaron Ramsdale in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, which has obviously caused controversy among Liverpool fans.

The Brazilian had arguably his best season while wearing a Liverpool jersey, and a startling statistic shows that in 2022–2023, he contributed more goals to his team than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League.
That does not seem to have been quite enough for his peers to recognize him, since his Arsenal counterpart was chosen ahead of him in a squad chosen by Premier League players.
No Liverpool players were selected for the team, and Alisson’s exclusion sparked a lot of discussion among fans.
Teams like this are always debatable, but Alisson’s exclusion after putting forward one of the best goalkeeping seasons in recent memory was always going to cause controversy.
Although it is unknown how much more the Brazilian would have needed to accomplish to earn a spot in the team, Liverpool supporters are well aware of how important he is at Anfield.
We most certainly wouldn’t replace him with Ramsdale or any other Premier League goalkeeper!
