World Cup Golden Boot winner will join Liverpool Women.

The Women’s World Cup Golden Boot winner, Hinata Miyazawa, is apparently about to join Liverpool Women’s side, significantly enhancing their offensive strength.
With a seventh-place finish the previous season, the Reds solidified their position in the WSL, and manager Matt Beard hopes to improve upon that standing this upcoming season.
This summer, the team has already welcomed six new players, and a seventh is reportedly on the way.
According to Nikkan Sports The midfielder is headed to Liverpool and is ready to build on her World Cup success as she takes her career to the next level.
Miyazawa started four of Japan’s five World Cup games this summer while representing his country, and he scored five goals before being eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Given that Liverpool finished the previous league season with 24 goals, the fourth-fewest of the 12 clubs, Miyazawa’s performance earned him the competition’s Golden Boot award, and that firepower will be appreciated there.
Before leaving the Tokyo airport, Miyazawa spoke to Nikkan Sports and said: “For me, this is the initial step, therefore I want to go where I can improve. I wish I could concentrate on that.
“I want to develop into a player who is adored and backed by a lot of people. I want to become a famous player worldwide.
Miyazawa will recognize a familiar face at Liverpool, as fellow countryman Fuka Nagano has done since joining the team in January.
Despite having recruited Natasha Flint and Mia Enderby this summer, Beard’s team has also been connected to Roma attacker Sophie Roman Haug.
Change is afoot for Liverpool Women both on and off the field as they continue to transform Melwood into their new training facility, which is anticipated to be finished in the near future.
The Reds, who started their preseason preparations on Monday with a penalty shootout loss to PSG in the AMOS Women’s French Cup semifinal, are making progress in the right direction.
On October 1, they play Arsenal at the Emirates to open the league season.
