Ryan Gravenberch’s absence from the Thursday training session at Bayern Munich is a strong indication that a transfer is about to occur as negotiations with Liverpool continue.
Bayern and Liverpool both need to concentrate on the task at hand before the weekend as the transfer deadline draws near.
In order to start the Bundesliga season with three straight victories, Bayern must go to Borussia Monchengladbach.
Thursday morning training was led by Thomas Tuchel and his team, but Gravenberch wasn’t there, according to BILD writer Christian Falk.
His absence occurs while “ongoing” talks between Liverpool and Bayern about a contract for the 21-year-old player, who is currently anticipated to leave, are ongoing.
After receiving word that Bayern will sell after weighing their options for months, Gravenberch has become a clear target for the Reds in recent days.
While attempts to sign Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia were unsuccessful, it is hoped that a sustained effort to sign Gravenberch will eventually be fruitful.

Earlier this summer, Bundesliga analyst Kevin Hatchard told This Is Anfield that the young player had “really interesting skillset.”
We know he can score fantastic goals because “he’s really good at avoiding the press, snaking his way through challenges, and doing that,” Hatchard added.
“There must be something there, then.
“He’s still very, very young, too; don’t pass judgment on him right away.”
Gravenberch, who paid £20 million to go from Ajax to Bayern last summer, has been linked with a move to Liverpool for £25.8 million and £35 million.
