Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was asked in his press conference about prospect of more transfers and Mohamed Salah exit
As interest in the Liverpool winger from Saudi Arabia grows, Jurgen Klopp has remained adamant that Mohamed Salah is not for sale. Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad have been linked with a move for the 31-year-old Egyptian for almost a month as they continue a spending spree made possible by the nation’s Public Investment Fund, which owns the majority stake in Newcastle United.
Klopp has no intention of selling Salah, even though the Saudi Arabian transfer window is still open for another six days.
The Reds manager affirmed that “the position remains the same.” That is the situation. Not much else to say. No offer that I’m aware of.
Ryan Gravenberch, a 21-year-old midfielder now on Merseyside for a physical, is about to join Liverpool from Bayern Munich in a deal worth an initial £35 million with a potential $5 million in add-ons.
However, Klopp remarked, “We cannot discuss that at this time since nothing has actually occurred. If something occurs, we can discuss it on Sunday.
When asked about potential new arrivals before the deadline, Klopp responded, “You never know. It’s deadline day therefore I don’t want to destroy the people’s joy. But I have other things on my plate today.
