Liverpool

Liverpool has announced Ryan Gravenberch’s jersey number.

Ryan Gravenberch’s squad number has been made public after he became Liverpool’s fourth midfield acquisition of the summer on the last day of the transfer window.

The £38.5 million transfer of the Dutchman from Bayern Munich to Anfield on Friday marked the successful conclusion of Liverpool’s summer transfer activity.

Deal was finalized just hours before the deadline, indicating how close the transaction was to failure.

The Dutchman, who joined Liverpool on Friday, will start the game wearing the No. 38 jersey, it has now been revealed.

Jon Flanagan, a player for Liverpool who made 51 appearances, was the last person to wear that number.
Last season, Gravenberch made 24 appearances in the Bundesliga for the German champions, but the majority of those were as a substitute.

Melissa Reddy reported earlier this year that Liverpool had long-standing interest in the player and had made an attempt to sign him before he moved to Germany.

There are no promises that he will be the first name on the teamsheet at Anfield, despite the fact that his lack of involvement at Bayern contributed to his desire for a new beginning.

Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and five more senior midfielders have all left Liverpool as part of the club’s summer rebuild.

After the international break, Gravenberch is anticipated to participate in this.
The 21-year-old will be eager to duplicate the early impressions that Szoboszlai and Mac Allister made with their first few performances.

In our opinion, it is a number that works for him! We can only hope that it brings the person and the team a lot of success in the years to come.
