Michael Edwards has returned to football along with an ex-LFC teammate
Since leaving Liverpool in 2022, Michael Edwards, the club’s illustrious former sporting director, has been the subject of numerous rumors regarding his future plans.
And now, The Athletic’s David Ornstein has revealed his next move, with Edwards joining Ian Graham, the club’s former director of research, in his new business, Ludonautics.
Edwards’ position with the company will be as a non-executive director, offering their knowledge and expertise to ownership and teams to assist to bring success.
It is said that Edwards’ role will not stop him from taking up a role elsewhere, though it is noted that he does not intend to become a sporting director at any point in the future.
Two great minds that will not be short on business you would imagine, though it would’ve been nice if they were both still at Anfield!
Salah’s ineffective…this season
Saudi Arabia has been talking nonstop about setting world records and wooing the No. 11 away from Anfield, but that is not going to happen this summer.
Salah is expected to stay, according to The Athletic’s Ornstein, who also reported that the Saudi transfer window would close at 10 p.m. on Thursday.
It comes as no surprise that Liverpool has refused all attempts to pry Salah away, but the real question is how long that will continue to be the case. The general view is that we should be on guard starting next summer.
