The time until Liverpool’s comeback is drawing nearer, but in the interim, Tuesday’s news included confirmation of the Europa League roster, the location of one of the games, and an impending player departure.
23-man roster set; no Adrian
Adrian has been left out of Liverpool’s Europa League roster, as David Lynch of This Is Anfield revealed last week, however there is a way for him to play if necessary.
Recently, clubs had to lock in their rosters for the upcoming European season, and the Reds filed a 23-man team with spots for Ben Doak and Bobby Clark, two young players.
Apart from Adrian’s omission, there were no major shocks in the list of players, which included all four of the club’s recent additions.
If you notice that players like Harvey Elliott and Stefan Bajcetic are missing from the roster, it’s because they are on the “B list.”
The group stage will soon begin; on September 21, Liverpool will go to LASK for the opening match.
