Ian Doyle’s evaluations on Liverpool’s players following their 3-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League
Following the 3-1 victory over West Ham United at Anfield, Ian Doyle has released his ratings of Liverpool players, and some of them received very high marks.
At halftime, the score was even thanks to Jarrod Bowen’s outstanding diving header after Mohamed Salah’s decisive penalty given the Reds the early lead.
After the first half, Jurgen Klopp made no immediate adjustments despite the missed opportunities for Darwin Nunez and Bowen.
But after 60 minutes, the Uruguayan international finished expertly with his right after Alexis Mac Allister passed the ball over the top.
Joe Gomez 8 Took on the task of playing as a right-back inverted throughout a busy performance.
Dutiful defensively as well. Impressive. Joel Matip 8 Showed good composure at times up against the dangerous Antonio and stepped forward into midfield when possible. Calm as West Ham pressed late on. Superb save kept out Soucek header early on and no chance to reach the equalizer. Claimed Bowen effort second half.

Nunez was given a chance after winning and converting a penalty and consistently appeared dangerous when in possession. worked assiduously to recover lost balls.

held onto the ball well, contributed to the penalty kick’s success, wasted a good opportunity in the second half, but made up for it by scoring the game’s winning goal. Another successful outing. Subbed.
7 Luis Diaz
remained rushing the West Ham defense and especially connected nicely with Nunez and Robertson. Subbed.
