In preparation for their League Cup third-round matchup against Leicester City, Liverpool manager Pep Lijnders has hinted that the Reds would make significant changes.
The Reds meet the recently relegated Foxes at Anfield on Wednesday night to begin their domestic cup run.
The match against Enzo Maresca’s team is the third of three matches in seven days in the Europa League, Premier League, and League Cup.
And Lijnders thinks that this makes lineup changes “a given,” although insisting that Liverpool will treat this competition seriously this year.
