According to reports, Arsenal have entered the fight to capture Andre, a transfer target for Liverpool, after the sporting director of the Gunners visited Fluminense’s practice facility.
Arsenal may soon join the fight to sign Andre, according to a recent report from Brazil, which is seen to be a reliable source for Fluminense news.
Liverpool apparently still wants to sign the Brazilian international despite having a £25 million deal for the midfielder rejected in the summer.
Thiago Ferreira, however, claims that there may be a twist in the story because “Arsenal are interested in Andre and will try to cross Liverpool for him.”
The fact that Fluminense’s practice facility was visited by Arsenal’s sporting director, Edu Gaspar, on Friday is adding gasoline to the fire.
The visit’s stated objectives were to deepen understanding of the club’s youth development program and to keep the club and club partnership going.
Although it may be claimed that Ferreira is simply adding two things together, we have been assured from Brazil that he is not the type of person who would do this.
A move would undoubtedly benefit from a positive connection between Fluminense and Arsenal.
The team (Fluminense) wouldn’t function without him, so I believe they’ll try to cling onto him until December, when the Brazilian season ends, according to Brazilian journalist Josue Seixas, who recently spoke with This Is Anfield.
All indications point to Andre departing in January’s transfer window, following the end of the Copa Libertadores, in which Fluminense reached the championship game.
On November 4, they will face Boca Juniors at their home field, the renowned Maracana, and all eyes in England will be on the home team’s holding midfielder.
