Liverpool

Klopp selects a replacement who would set a record, as Mo Salah depart Liverpool next summer.

If Mohamed Salah leaves, according to a source, Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to smash their transfer record to sign Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich.
Salah was a target of the Saudi Pro League’s interest this summer, but Liverpool is preparing for subsequent attempts to entice the Egypt star to the Middle East in 2024.
Salah will ‘very surely’ leave Liverpool next year, according to the Daily Mirror, but happily for Klopp, it will be in the summer rather than in the beginning of the year.
Therefore, Liverpool has plenty of time to prepare for Salah’s replacement. Salah has been one of the focal points on the field during the Klopp era.
According to the article, the preferred choice would be for Sane to return to the Premier League following his previous stint with Manchester City.
According to recent sources, Bayern wants to talk to Sane about a new deal. Given that, they are unlikely to hand him up to Liverpool without a fight.
Sane will be 28 years old by the summer of 2019 and will have played four full seasons for Bayern. He might serve as Salah’s successor on a like-for-like basis as another left-footed right winger.
But Sane frequently played on the left flank when he was a Man City player. Liverpool would need him most on the right if Salah left, but his versatility may make him a valuable addition any way.
