Which Arsenal player does
Ryan Gravenberch, a midfielder for Liverpool
Ryan Gravenberch, a midfielder for Liverpool, has identified the current Arsenal player he would most want to see join him at Anfield.
Gravenberch, a summer acquisition from Bayern Munich, already has Cody Gakpo and Virgil van Dijk from the Netherlands playing with him on Merseyside, but he has expressed interest in bringing on a third.
When asked who fellow Dutchman he’d like to join him at Liverpool, the Reds star quickly mentioned his former Ajax teammate Jurrien Timber in a conversation with Sky Sports.
Due to the fact that they have played together their entire lives, Gravenberch claimed that Timber was a fantastic friend.
“I’d probably go for a good friend of mine, Jurrien Timber,” he stated.
“I chose him because I’ve played with him my entire life and, yeah, he’s like a brother to me,” the player said.
After receiving a penalty for declining to join the Dutch team in September, Gravenberch is not presently being considered for service with the Netherlands by manager Ronald Koeman.
The 21-year-old had recently joined for the Reds and allegedly needed some time to get used to his new surroundings.
As a result of the international snub, Gravenberch has now received the signal, according to Koeman, who also notes the player’s limited playing time at Liverpool.
However, Koeman’s attitude is regarded to be only a warning for the time being, and Gravenberch is not anticipated to be absent from the Dutch team for very long.
