James Harden‘s trade issues and absence from the team are still causing controversies. However, the Miami Heat could be open to a possible spot for Harden. However, it’s not a permanent spot since they aren’t planning to provide too many assets for him.
While Bill Simmons even thinks the superstar has a spot on the team, Ira Winderman, writer for the SunSentinel, answers a hypothetical about the 10-time All-Star landing in Miami.
The comment states, “Ira, the Heat are in Houston on Friday. James Harden is in Houston, not with Philadelphia. Connect the dots.”
Winderman answers with a resounding ‘no’ on the idea.
He doesn’t think the former scoring champ exudes Heat Culture. Since he’s been missing since Sunday, this might be true.
With the hard work the team is known for, the 34-year-old’s flighty nature might be an issue.
He further states that the team has made it known privately they aren’t interested in Harden. However, a one-year rental could be a possibility. A long-term answer, though, seems to be out of the picture.
Just a few hours ago, Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed Harden’s absence from the team’s practice.
A fan points out an interesting difference between the tweets on X (formerly Twitter). While Wojnarowski’s tweet doesn’t state why the superstar is missing, Charania’s does.
This led many to the discourse of whose side these NBA insiders work for. Just a few days ago, both insiders caught flak for potentially ruining trades for players with their information.
Nevertheless, Harden is proving many haters right by causing chaos for the team by being absent. This possibly contradicts his words of “wanting to retire a Philadelphia 76er.”
