Some Liverpool fans were left disappointed in their quest to watch Jurgen Klopp’s men at Anfield this season
Liverpool have issued an apology to supporters who were affected by system faults during Wednesday’s members’ sale.
Reds fans suffered problems as they looked to acquire tickets for the opening 10 Premier League games. The club issued widespread changes to their ticketing process in order to make it as smooth as possible, also alleviating the possibility of malicious activity.
The club confirmed that after removal of the BOT software, no data or tickets were compromised.
The issues come after members faced a delay in the ballot for tickets last month due to uncertainty over the capacity upon completion of the £80m Anfield Road redevelopment.
