Trent Alexander-Arnold has been recalled to the England team for their October games after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Once more, the international break is quickly approaching, and Jurgen Klopp’s team will go for various locations around the globe to represent their country.
Thankfully, Alexander-Arnold won’t have a long trip after being selected as the lone Liverpool player for Gareth Southgate’s most recent England team.
The Three Lions will host Australia on October 13 before playing Italy in a Euro 24 qualifying match on October 17.
After being used as a midfielder by Southgate in June, Liverpool’s No. 66 has been designated as one for England. In the meantime, former Red
Alexander-Arnold only made an appearance off the bench at Tottenham after missing England’s first two games with the same hamstring ailment that kept him out for four Liverpool games.
It is hoped that while playing for England, he will continue to be properly managed, as Joe Gomez was overlooked after filling in for the 24-year-old.
Curtis Jones has also excelled for England and was deserving of a spot in the competition, but after graduating from youth level, he will be one of many Reds who will be given a rest.
He was obviously dismissed, and when Liverpool returned from the international break, he was suspended. He may only play in the Europa League until November 1.
